Leith deadline Fri 11 - last chance to object
Hello
We know that a good number of objections to the Leith biomass proposal have been submitted to the Scottish Government already, but it's vital to lodge as many objections as possible to stop the power station from being built.
Please let your friends and family know that the last day to email an objection letter to the Scottish Government is this Friday, 11th March.
If you haven't already sent your objection, you don't need to start from scratch. W e have created a template letter which is attached (or you can download it from www.noleithbiomass.org.uk). You can send it in just as it stands, but it might carry more weight if you added some of your own views and words. Just add a short personal message at the top and/or adapt anything you like throughout the letter as you wish. However, you MUST include your name and address or it will not be counted.
If you email the objection, please send it by this Friday to leithbiomass@scotland.gsi.gov.uk
(and please copy it to info@noleithbiomass.org.uk
so we can keep track of how many objections there are and check that all are registered). If you want to print and post it to the address on the top of the letter, you will need to send it by 1st class post by this Thursday (to arrive on Friday).
