Forth Energy biomass proposals, update 13 June 2011
(The following were provided by the Energy Consents Unit of the Scottish Government on 13 June, in response to an inquiry by Andrew Llanwarne of Friends of the Earth in Dundee).

Dundee – suspended pending the applicant submitting further information, this information is expected to be submitted in 2012. 

Grangemouth – the applicant has submitted an addendum to their original application and this is out to consultation at the moment, due to conclude on 15 July 2012. 

Rosyth – consultation completed and Scottish Government considering responses received. Decision hoped to be taken before the end of 2011. 

Leith – application suspended pending discussions/further information from applicant. Edinburgh City Council plan to take this to planning committee in December 2011.
