Interesting item on BBC website relating to Dovesdale incinerator– but look what she says at the end! When you email her please do remind her that you agree, there should be no passing the buck – she is Minister in charge of Planning and she MUST be able to stop Shore Energy ! 'Massive disappointment'

Aileen Campbell, SNP MSP for South of Scotland, said there was "massive disappointment" among campaigners who had opposed the (Dovesdale) scheme.

"South Lanarkshire Council has ridden roughshod over their own greenbelt policy, not to mention the opinion of the overwhelming majority of local residents who objected to this proposal," she said.

"Hundreds of people from across the south of Scotland have told me they don't want this facility to be built, and I reflected that in my own objection to the council.

"There can be no passing the buck. The council could have rejected this application and instead once again it has chosen to support a developer rather than democracy
