COATBRIDGE - MASSIVE DEMO PLANNED

Hi all

The demonstration is on! Saturday 18th at 12 noon at Shawhead flyover. I’ve attached:

1. A flyer – please print off as many as you can & pop through as many doors in your area as you can, pass to neighbours, friends & family

2. An A4 poster – please ask local shops, community centres, clubs etc to display

3. List of media contacts – please call, email or both to let them know about this HUGE demo that’s taking place

Give your kids a bundle of flyers and ask them to give them out at school. Any other ideas for exposure, please go ahead.........

The old Woolworths shop in Airdrie has packs of 20 dust masks for £1, we are asking people to wear them and white disposable suits (B & Q have these) but it’s more important to be there, so don’t worry if you can’t get these in time.

We are getting more placards and banners printed (thanks R!).

Other ideas:
Whistles
Children welcome
Fluorescent bibs

First and foremost we must have your safety in mind, keep to the pavements at all times and keep a close eye to all children, not just your own!

This will be the biggest demo Coatbridge has ever seen, I know we will have a great turnout – because you will be there helping us to help you.
