Simon Howie, who is trying to convince the community that this plant will be perfectly safe, has already been fined by SEPA for operating outwith the law – see link - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/4446618.stm.  Ok,so it was 2005 but it still happened!

Now if he can’t get his ‘core’ award winning butchers business processes without polluting his local environment, why should we trust he will adhere to the law and required side conditions with this plant? The fine in this instance (£5250) was nothing considering Mr Howie’s fortune.
