ICARE asks you to sign their petition seeking a public inquiry in Invergordon, 7 February 2011 After the Court of Session quashed the Government Reporter's decision to allow an incinerator at Invergordon (in the face of an appeal by neighbouring landowner Mohamed Al Fayed), local campaigners led by ICARE (Invergordon Community Action for Recycling and the Environment) are asking that the Scottish Government recovers jurisdiction of the planning appeal from delegation to a Reporter and that a Public Local Inquiry is convened. This will allow the fairness and transparency that wasn't given in the first decision. Tina, an ICARE director, asks for you to help apply pressure for a public local inquiry by clicking on the link and signing their petition. "Each and every signature is vital in ensuring our total success in finally laying the incinerator ( A huge white dead elephant) to rest in a very deep grave." Please click the link, sign the petition, share on FB, twitter, text to your family, friends and work mates, anything that gets the petition signed and noticed. http://www.gopetition.com/petition/42757.html
"We as a community really appreciate everyone's help in making sure we win this for the very last
time" says Tina, adding "Please pass this link onto everyone you know, thank you" |
